Places to see in Pattaya



Pattaya is a place with exquisite beauty. It is located southeast of the Bangkok city. Some years ago the city was a mere fishing spot. But presently Pattaya has its own administration and Mayor as well. The place is importantly known for its pollution free environment, nightlife, food, fashion, etc. There is plenty of natural beauty where the beaches are clean and tidy.

The tourists love the sandy beach which is appropriate to get a perfect suntan. Alcoholic or also non-alcoholic beverages accompanied with coconut water are available in the beaches. The vast water resource encourages different water sports life para-sailing, scuba diving, boat sailing, snorkeling, etc. These adventurous sports are very famous in the city of Pattaya. The beach life is very exciting as one can be busy for the entire day. Just a scroll along the long beach can also be very interesting at times. Some worth mentionable places on the beach are:

Coral Island: This Island can be reached by a motorboat from Pattaya beach. This is a nice place to enjoy some water sport. Swimming, sun bathing, strolling, etc. can be enjoyed a lot. After spending the whole day you can enjoy some seafood as dinner.

Sriracha Tiger Zoo: This is a tiger zoo and one of the greatest Zoos in the world. Tigers, pigs, rabbits, elephants show a unique instance of friendship in this zoo. A unique experience of crocodile eggs breaking can be achieved in the months of May to August.

Pattaya Crocodile Farm: This Park is fifteen minutes away from Pattaya. This is a centre or museum of beautiful animals, plants and also minerals. Two hundred year old Thai trees, bonsai and old plants are common features of the place. Crocodile, thepha fish, giant catfish, tiger, Bear, Horse, etc. are the ordinary animals found here. The farm has a collection of twenty orchids.

Nong Nooch tropical Garden: This garden has a wide variety of orchids, flowering and decorative plants, palm garden and many more. Sweet fragrance of millions flowers have really made the tourists spellbound. The chimpanzees and elephants are good friends to many of the visitors. Dances, sword fighting and kickboxing have also taken an important part in Thai people.
